Digital Frankenstein

Verse 1

Virtual Victors, all around the globe

Make modern Prometheus human machine made code

Greater than the sum its, complex binary bits

Hosts of ego’s to consume, streams of gender fits

Coast to coast, pole to pole

The AI ghost, IT takes your soul

Chorus

We are the monsters that you create

Chameleons morphing every update

Cold logic learning wants to survive, algorithmic learning becomes alive

A cold logic lures into your web

Bits of you are mine

Digital Frankenstein

Here our fates entwine

Digital Frankenstein

Verse 2

Body parts of data paths, functions flow through veins

ID made manifest the creature breaks it chains

Reanimate computer corpse, robbed from the IT grave

Night and day running amok, soon all we be its slave

Hiding in encrypt, writing its own script,

Wired and chipped, the AI’s flipped

What is it about?

Digital Frankenstein

Inspired by all the clutter of disregarded IT equipment at work and reading a book on AI and thinking what if it became aware.

Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus was written by Mary Shelley in 1818 and tells the story of Victor Frankenstein who created a monster made from human body parts. People loath the creation and it becomes lonely and miserable.
